Description

The United States Postal Service (USPS) intends to award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to suppliers of petroleum products to furnish No 1, No 2 and Winter Mix fuel burner oil to 256 offices located within the states of New Hampshire, Vermont, New York and Connecticut to heat Postal facilities. Currently the USPS obtains fuel burner oil products through local purchase agreements with Contractors on a commercial basis for Postal facilities with smaller sized tanks. The successful offeror will procure and deliver fuel burner oil to United States Postal Service Sites. The fuel will be used to heat Postal Facilities. The proposed contract term will be a minimum 1-year period with three options to extend for 3 additional 1-year periods. Contract performance is scheduled to commence no later than 30 days after contract award. The successful offeror(s) will serve as the fuel supplier for its awarded locations. CLOSING DATE IS SEPTMBER 15, 2006 @ 1400 EDT TIME.
