Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for a tactical blanket system complete with five (5) panels and additional accessories in a carrying case, mfg.: Instant Armor, Inc. Part #: TACIII+System or equal. This requirement shall be delivered to Patrick AFB, FL. Period of expected delivery date is approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an order. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-06-T-0393 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5999, business size of $6.5M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 453998. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
