Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). Requirement: Provide extended service/repair support coverage for JetSCAN Instrument System Type: Jet50-61, to include the Scanning Electron Microscope/Energy Dispersion X-ray (SEM/EDX); located at 162nd Fighter Wing, 1330 E Super Sabre Dr, Tucson, Arizona 85706. The period of performance for support of the JetScan shall be from 8 October 2006 through 7 October 2007.
