Description

This is not a Solicitation announcement. This is a DRAFT Request for Proposal and Briefing for Industry (BFI) Announcement for the purpose of gathering information for the Briefing for Industry (BFI) and locating qualified Small Business concerns interested in this procurement. Your response to this notice will be treated as informational only. AFRL/VS is providing a DRAFT Request for Proposal for the Space Technology Research, Analysis, Integration & Test (STRAIT) program with the purpose of receiving industry comments. Comments are requested to be submitted in writing to Ms. Jill Mahdessian at jill.mahdessian@kirtland.af.mil by noon, 14 Sep 06. AFRL/VS has also scheduled a Briefing for Industry (BFI) for the Space Technology Research, Analysis, Integration & Test (STRAIT) program for 18 Sep 06, commencing promptly at 08:30 hours local time at Kirtland AFB, NM. Further details regarding the exact location are forthcoming. Attendance at the BFI will be strictly limited to two (2) individuals per eligible small business prospective offeror. Point of contact regarding the BFI is Mr. Allan Emerson at Allan.Emerson@kirtland.af.mil . This publication is for information only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), government sponsorship of contractor charges against any government contract for attendance or proposal efforts, or a government promise to pay for any information received in response to this announcement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this BFI and DRAFT RFP or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in FAR 31.205-18, Bid and Proposal Costs.
