- Description
- Scope of work consists of interior renovation work at the U.S. Courthouse and Federal Building, 517 E. Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53202. This is a remodeling and construction project to provide new office space for the U.S. Marshal Service, in support of the U.S. Marshal Service administrative officials. The project calls for demolition of existing space, and construction of new offices, support areas, and restrooms. The project also calls for epoxy terrazzo flooring in part of the construction area, and hazardous material demolition including but not limited to lead paint and asbestos. All work will be completed on the seventh floor of the U.S. Courthouse. The contractor is to provide all the management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary for this project. The contract completion time for this project is three hundred and fifty (350) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a negotiated best value procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 with an average gross revenue of $28.5 million for the last three (3) years. The proposed contract is being solicited as Unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about May 10, 2006. Funds are presently available for this project. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS). FedTeDS is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. In order to obtain information from FedTeDS, you will first be required to register with CCR You may access CCR at the following URL http://www.ccr.gov. Once you have registered with CCR you will be required to register with FedTeDS. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. You may access FedTeDS via the following URL https://www.FedTeDS.gov. Any questions regarding this notification should be directed to the Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist whose name appears herein. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendments if any to the solicitation. Bid, performance, and payment bonds will be required, and security clearances will be required of anyone working on this contract. All responsive offers from responsible offerors will be considered. Small Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, HUB Zone, Veteran Owned and Disable Veterans Owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
