Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide Third (3rd) Party Air Monitoring and provide professional services to review and comments on the Abatement Contractor's Asbestos Abatement Plan. The Environmental Contractor shall be completely independent from the Abatement Contractor and shall not be an employee of the Abatement Contractor. Security background check of contractor personnel is required. The Screening Information Request (SIR), RFO, is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns under NAICS Code 541620. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $200,000.00. To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) - www.ccr.gov This RFO is being sent to the following companies: Applied Environmental, Reston, Va and Hillmann Environmental Group, LLC, Union N.J. The FAA will accept the first five (5) companies requesting this RFO by FAX. The date and time on the FAX will determine the first five (5) companies who will receive the RFO. "This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
