Description

The John D. Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI, 48201 intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Beckman Coulter, 4300 Harbor Boulevard, Fullerton, California, 92634. The proposed contract is for preventative maintenance services for three Model L80 centrifuges. This equipment is utilized during the performance of research studies. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). All FAR provisions and clauses may be reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service Internet address: http//www.arnet.gov/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offeror must complete and return all information designated in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items.
