Description

The BLM has a requirement for a Class III Cultural Resource Inventory (CRI) of the project area located immediately south of Grand Junction, in Mesa County, CO. There are six areas within the SRMA. This solicited project includes three (3) of the areas. Each area has different types of travel management designated to respond to both the public recreation demand and the resource management objectives. The current project is in three Areas in the SRMA. Area 1 and 4 are on the west and east side of Little Park Road respectively. Area 6 is west of Highway 141, south of the town of Whitewater, 8 miles southeast of Grand Junction. The planning has been completed and the BLM Grand Junction Field Office (GJFO). Route designations are made, in part, to change existing use patterns. This requirement is open to Total Small Business Set Asides. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders may print the bid documents to submit their bid by mail, or bids may be submitted electronically. Facsimile bids will also be accepted. Fax No. is 303/239-3699. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about 09/02/2006. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation.
