- This synopsis is for two NSNs: 9150-00-250-0933, Petrolatum, Technical; Unit can contains 7.5 LBS net weight, and is in accordance with the following: MIL-STD-290F REFNO DTD 04/20/06 AMEND NR 00 DTD 07/17/00 TYPE NUMBER MIL-STD-290F; IAW SPEC NR VV-P-236A BASIC DTD 04/20/06 AMEND NR 02 DTD 12/29/77 TYPE NUMBER VV-P-236A; & 9150-00-250-0926, Petrolatum, Technical; unit can (1 QT) contains 1.75 LBS net weight, and is in accordance with the following: MIL-STD-290F REFNO DTD 04/20/06 AMEND NR 00 DTD 07/17/00 TYPE NUMBER MIL-STD-290F; IAW SPEC NR VV-P-236A BASIC DTD 04/20/06 AMEND NR 02 DTD 12/29/77 TYPE NUMBER CLASS 2, TYPE 5. Direct access to defense and federal specifications, standards, and related standardization documents is available on the Internet via http://assist.dapsmil or http://www.dodssp.daps.mil. Solicitation will be issued as an Indefinite Quantity Contract, Firm Fixed Price with EPA with one base year plus one option year. EPA will be at 150% per memorandum for record issued by the Deputy Director of Aviation Supplier Operations. Solicitation will not contain progress payments. Surge & Sustainment requirements have been waived for this procurement since the resulting contract will only be for two years. For 9150-00-250-0933, pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 300 for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 72. The Maximum Contract Quantity is 600 for the base and option years. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 72 / 144. For 9150-00-250-0926, pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 9,696 for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 2,400. The Maximum Contract Quantity is 19,392 for the base and option years. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 2,400 / 4,800. Solicitation will be issued under the procedures of Full & Open Competition after exclusion of sources as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. This is a commercial item. FOB is Destination. Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination. MSDS and OSHA Hazard Warning Label are required. Quantity Variance is plus 5% or minus 5%. Required delivery is 30 days ARO. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. DLA-Direct delivery will be to Richmond, VA (SRG) & Tracy, CA (AQ5) only. This item is a critical application item. This item is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The solicitation will be issued on September 20, 2006 with a closing date of October 20, 2006. Synopsis on Fed Biz Ops will occur on September 5, 2006 for a period of 15 days.
