Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under requisition number 99213. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. The U.S. Secret Service intends to purchase Brand Name equipment from the manufacturer General Dynamics C4 Systems as follows: (6) each Taclane Mini ? Encryptor (KG-175B). In addition, the Taclane Mini ? Encryptor shall at least meet the following requirements: a) Shall provide 200 Mb/s of aggregate throughput. b) Shall be High Assurance Internet Protocol (HAIPE) IS v1.3.5 Crypto Mod Compliant. c) Shall be compliant with future HAIPE IS versions. d) Shall be rack mountable. e) Shall support local configuration via serial port. f) Shall support remote configuration via remote management. g) Shall support over the network reprogramming. h) Shall support both internet protocol (IPv4/IPv6) dual stack. i) Shall operate from 32?F to 85?F in a passively cooled environment. j) Shall meet Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) MIL-STD 461E. k) Shall be NSA certified at minimum of Secret up to Top Secret classification level. l) Have a Mean Time between Failure of approximately 25,000 hours. m) Shall provide a copper 10/100 Base-T (RJ-45) interface. n) Shall provide a fiber 100 Base-FX (MTRJ) interface. o) Shall provide a Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface. p) Shall support the following protocols: Path Maximum Transfer Unit (PMTU) Discovery, Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) Echo/Reply/Gratuitous/Proxy, IGMP (v1/v2) Queries/reports, ICMP, HAIPE IS IKE, and SNMP v1 q) Shall include the Field Temper Recovery (FTR) and shall be coordinated and approved by NSA prior to shipment of the unit.
