- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-06-QU062 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 332994 and small business size standard 1,000 employees. (v) The contractor shall provide the following items: CLIN 0001 ? (30) each, SEI 5.56mm M4DC Sound Suppressor, P/N 4001, or equal; CLIN 0002 ? (30) each, VORTEX G6A2 P/N 1001V, or equal; CLIN 0003 ? (9) each, VITAL-2, eye-safe, 3 Beam mod, CQB illuminationVITAL-2, NSN 5855-01-468-4169, or equal. Clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds -- Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at, 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer.
