- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-06-Q-0542 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12 (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 336211 and small business size standard 1,000 Employees. (v) CLIN 1: Purchase of one (1) each 4,000 gallon (approximate) capacity water tank truck to be used for dust control at construction sites. (vi) Vehicle must include: water tank; front/rear/side sprays; PTO with engine speed controller; pump; anti-siphon loading pipe; hose outlet, hose bib, hose reel, and 50 foot hose and nozzle. Quoted price to include all applicable taxes, fees, and delivery charges. Include description/literature of offered product and warranty terms and procedures with quote. (vii) Delivery to be FOB Destination, Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ, within 60 days ARO. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price and warranty, with price being the more important factor. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
