Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement, F3G3FA6230A100 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 611420. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is one that is equal to or less than $6,500,000 of Annual Total Income. This Request for Quotation is set-aside for women owned small businesses. This is a commercial purchase. CLIN 0001 ? 60 students/ea ? Client Support Administrator (CSA) Course for a maximum of 10 students every other month for a 12-month period.--Vendor must provide the students with hands-on training (Over 40% of the course) -- Vendor must provide a customized textbook for each student to keep (60 students) -- This office will provide a CD-ROM with the course outline and a master copy of the textbook in the event that a portion of the course needs to be revised, it is the vendor's responsibility to make any suggested revisions (by the government) to the course material -- Vendor must be able to provide the students with a Certificate of Completion-- Vendor shall provide an instructor to come to Nellis every other month to provide five-days course training for a maximum of 10 students. Should the training facility at Nellis not be available, the vendor must have available an Off-Base facility with the hardware/software configuration to conduct the course along with capacity to hold at least 10 students-- The vendor shall provide additional hardware such as tear apart CPUs and shall provide computer components (component boards, disassembled hard drives showing inner workings, and others as needed for the course of instruction) to use as visual aids to pass around the classroom for touching by students-- Qualified Instructor; must be a Microsoft Certified Technician (MCT) and or a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) -- Classes will be every other month for 12 months teaching a maximum of 10 students per class. See attached CSA Course document for the course layout. The Client Support Administrator (CSA) course is designed in a modular format, complete with narratives, presentations, and lesson plans. The course is designed to be taught in 5 days (30.5 hours of instruction)...see linked matrix on recommended number of hours to dedicate to instructing each module. Local Client Support Administrator courses should be a minimum of 5 days, usually containing 4 days of Air Force-provided material and 1 day of instruction on local Client Support Administrator procedures. Units may add to this course, but as a minimum must teach the material provided.
