This is not a Request for Quote or solicitation or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is market research to determine if a small business can provide following requirement: Seat Pallet for C-130 ? 12 economy seats, 108in long x 88in wide, with all in-arm trays, seat pallet cover, and non-skid gray flooring, weight 1175 lbs. Quantity: four (4). While this sources sought is to determine if there are small businesses capable of meeting this requirement, ALL interested parties are encouraged to respond. Firms responding to this sources sought synopsis are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company?s full name, business size, CAGE code, GSA contract number (if applicable), address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can satisfy this requirement. Final responses to this sources sought synopsis will be due by 4:00 Central Standard Time, 11 SEP 2006. Responses will be reviewed and may result in further clarifications to further explore commercial capabilities with selected respondents. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice.
