Description

The 12th Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB intends to award a contract for the purchase of a fiber optic curtain and accessories. A streamlined combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items will be prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information. This announcement will be immediately followed by the combined synopsis/solicitation; quotations will being accepted after the solicitation is issued. The requirement will be issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. The NAICS Code is 238210; size standard $13 Million. IAW FAR Part 19.502-2 -- Total Small Business Set Asides, this procurement will be set aside to address small business concerns. A Firm Fixed Priced Contract will be award for supplies that satisfy agency requirements. CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Evaluation procedures in FAR Part 13.106-2 will be utilized. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from the solicitation, contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS.
