- The 311th Human Systems Wing/PKBA, Brooks City-Base TX, intends to award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Medical Education Technologies Inc., 6000 Fruitville Rd., Sarasota, FL 34232-6414. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 339999, 500 employees. The government intends to issue a purchase order to purchase a Medical Education Technologies Inc. (METI) Extended Warranty Service Agreement for existing government owned simulators (mannequins). The service agreement will be used at the Centers for Sustainment of Advanced Trauma and Readiness Skills (C-STARS) training sites located in Baltimore, Cincinnati, and St Louis of mannequins already in place at these installations. The provision at FAR Part 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items; 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment; DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration and DFAR 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, including subparagraphs (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), and (17). Firms that recognize and can provide the requirement described above are encouraged to identify themselves and provide proposals. All responses received by 8 Sept 06, 4:00 PM (CST) will be considered by the government.
