Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a BRAND NAME requirement for the Eotech Holographic Sight 552 AA style, Eotech Item #: 552, (40 each) and Trijicon TA31 DOC BAC 223 ACOG 4 x 32 scope with doctor optics red dot sight on top of ACOG LED, EoTech item #: TA31DOC, (20 each). Requested delivery date is approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of an order. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-06-T-0414 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3827, business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333314. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 11 September 2006 at www.fbo.gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136) or e-mail.
