- Repair/replace electrical service and devices to facility 4360 & manholes 794 and 795 at Eielson AFB, AK is being offered under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210. This NAICS has a size standard of $13 million. The magnitude of this project, in accordance with FAR 36.204, is under $25,000. Award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Work will include, but is not limited to providing all labor, tools, parts, materials, transportation and facilities necessary to remove 100A panel and manual transfer switch, remove two (2) 60A fuse disconnects, remove notification devices from steam pits, remove abandoned 60A disconnect on existing meter base, and remove existing power and lighting circuits in manholes, as set forth in the Statement of Work. Performance period for resultant contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be ten (10) work days. This acquisition is being set aside for emerging small businesses pursuant to FAR 19.1007. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 6 Sep 2006. The Request for Proposal will be available by ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION ONLY, via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov). No bidders mailing list will be maintained.
