- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes, W91248-06-Q-0085. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circu lar 2005-12. Acquisition is set aside for small business Concerns. See Numbered Note 1. The NAICS Code is 333924 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsive, responsible offero r submitting the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. Equipment required is Aircraft Tractor Tugs (2 Each), All Wheel Drive Option (3 Each), and Pintle Hook Hitch (4 Each). Specifications are shown on the attached offer schedule. Equipment will be delivered to Fort Campbell, KY. The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items, is applicable and is addended as follows: Paragraphs(d), (e), and (h) are deleted. This provision is further addended to incorporate52.252-1 Solicita tion Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Fill-in information http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm); 52.216-1 Type of Contract (Fill-in information, firm fixed-price ); and 252.204-7001 Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code Reporting. Specifications/descriptive literature for proposed equipmen t must contain sufficient information to allow the Government to evaluate against the solicitation requirements and rate against those solicitation requirements). Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable responsible offeror.
