Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Advanced Measurement Technology, Inc. doing business as ORTEC & Princeton Applied, Signal Recovery Divisions. This contract will be for the procurement of: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Model GEM40P4, Coaxial P-type HPG Gamma Ray Detector (PopTop), with an energy range of 40keV to 10Mev, Unit of Iss ue Each, Quantity 1; CLIN 0002, Model CFG-X-COOL-II-115, X-COOLER II with PopTop connector using 110-120Vac, 60Hz Input Power, Unit of Issue Each, Quantity 1; CLIN 0003, Model X-COOL-STAND, Cold Head Stand, Unit of Issue Each, Quantity 1; CLIN 0004, Model HPLBS1, Lead Shield for CFG-PV-1, CFG-PV4 or CFG-SV Cryostat Vertical lead shield with 4-inches of lead surrounding an interior cylinder of 11-inch interior diameter by 16-inch interior height with a SN/CU liner with table, Unit of Issue Each, Quantity 1; CLIN 0005, Model DSPEC-jr-2-0-POSGE, jr,2.0 with MAESTRO-32 Software and DIM-POSGE, for use with non-SMART-1 detector, Unit of Issue: Each, Quantity: 1. CLIN 0006, Model A66-B32 Gamma Vision-32 Gamma Ray HPGe Spectral Analysis Software, Unit of Issue Eac h, Quantity 1; CLIN 0007, Model A44-B32, Report Writer Software Option for Gamma Vision-32 Software, Unit of Issue Each, Quantity 1; CLIN 0008, Model C53-B32 NuclideNavigator III Master Library Software, Unit of Issue Each, Quantity 1. The following CLINS are optional items the government may purchase if funds become avaliable at the time of award. CLIN 009, Model 919E EtherNIM 4-Input Multichannel Buffer Width = NIM  2, Unit of Issue Each Quantity 1; CLIN 0010, Model A66-N32 GammaVision-32 Software additi onal network copy, Unit of Issue Each, Quantity 2; CLIN 0011, Model C53-ED32 NuclideNavigator III Software for 5 Additional Users, Unit of Issue Each, Quantity 1; CLIN 0012, Model A44-B32, Report Writer Software Option for Gamma Vision-32 Software, Unit of Issue Each, Quantity 2. Advanced Measurement Technology, Inc.is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source that can provide the required radiation equipment. Acquiring these items will provide compatibility in form, fit, and funct ion with existing Ortec Alpha Spectroscopy System currently in use at the United States Army Yuma Proving Ground. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested perso ns may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guard ed information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed items. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these items, then you must respond by 12 September 2006, 2:00PM Mountain Standard Time.
