- The purpose of this modification is to clarify questions to the referenced solicitation. Due to clerical errors, there may be differences between the PDF and the changes listed below, whereby the changes below shall govern. In addition to all feature s in the original proposal, modified herein, Offeror shall include in proposal the following additional items: ITEM 56: Lectern RWH Model MP 30 quantity 1; ITEM 57: Equipment mounting arm, Chief model FCG-110S quantity 4; ITEM 58: TOA audio amplifier model A712, quantity 20. Q1) AV Equipment: The Statement of Work says Deinstallation, moving and reinstallation of existing Government equipment presently in use at a facility within 25 miles of the install site. The equipment locations have been previously prepared with power an d data conductors for each piece of equipment What exactly needs to be moved? Is there a list of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) available? A1) Relocation shall include attachments and connections to Government furnished property in addition to the new equipment to be purchased. The vendor may reuse suitable mounting brackets. The following is a list of all existing GFE A/V equipment to be rel ocated: * Ceiling projector and mount, Quantity 9 * Smartboards and controls, Quantity 8. Q2) How many classrooms are there? Do you have a breakdown of each rooms equipment and expected delivery schedule? Is the equipment in the rooms to be centrally controlled by 1 control system or is it for only one of the rooms? A2) The space will be ready to receive product prior to the anticipated move date. Each classroom will be operated by a desktop PC and sympodium. Additional information will be provided to the successful bidder. Q3) There are multiple item requests and single item requests; at this time is it possible to know what each room requires? A3) The Government will meet with the successful bidder to discuss the installation details on a room by room basis. Q4) Is there a site visit planned or will there only be one for the successful bidder? A4) A site visit will be available only to the successful bidder. Q5) The Mitsubishi projector XD450U, SMA SSID350 Smart Sympodium Lectern, and Panasonic projector 3500U are no longer available. Will you accept substitutions? A5) If an item has been discontinued, a substitution is to be submitted for the unavailable item. The equipment referenced in the solicitation will be the basis of comparison for the proposed substitution. Q6) A power amplifier has not been specified to power the speakers. Do you require these items as well? A6) Yes, per ITEM 58 listed above. Q7) Are the extron hideaways going into the table? If so, who is responsible for the cutouts? A7) Extron hideaways are to be installed in a Government furnished conference table. The Successful bidder shall be responsible for the cutouts. Q8) Will a Rack be specified to house any of the equipment? A8) Offerors are required to provide a fully operable installation within the confines of the solicitation. Where rack mounted equipment is specified, please provide a rack to receive the equipment within your proposal. Q9) Smart SSDT770 is an interactive pen display and not a lectern. A9) The pen display will be mounted by the successful bidder on a Government Furnished Lectern. Q10) For the custom lectern, what do the end users want housed in it? A10) The Cable Cubby will be installed in the Government Furnished lectern to manage the cables. Q11) What type of on-site maintenance is required? Do you require a specific response time? Are there any other particulars? A11) On site maintenance will include site response within 24 hours Monday through Friday. Include an alternate point of contact to reduce response time to 4 hours within the proposal. Q12) The successful bidder will be provided with technical drawings of field preparation What does that mean? A12) The space Fitup includes inst allation of power and data within 6 feet of the proposed equipment installation locations. After award to the successful bidder, the Government will be provided with drawings showing the character and location of these features. If there are changes requir ed to the Government furnished power and data infrastructure, the successful bidder will be asked to forward any changes to the Government. Changes will be made at the Government expense. Q13) The ID250 part number refers to the display component only. Is the display the only component required in this solicitation or the lectern as well? A13) Bidders shall include the cost of installing the ID250 in a Government furnished lectern.
