Description

The Vicksburg District Corps of Engineers proposes to issue a sole source award to YSI Environmental/Gulf Coast, 12231 Industriplex Blvd., Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70809. Multi-parameter in situ water quality data sonde systems and YSI compatible op tical oxygen sensors are required to replace and upgrade aging sondes. The systems should be able to collect simultaneous water quality data including water temperature, dissolved oxygen (optical sensor), conductivity, turbidity (optical sensor), and pH a nd should be configured with wipers to clean probe surfaces in order to extend the length of deployment. The following outlined below is required: 1.) Quantity of Eight (8) each 6920v2-01 6920 v2-2 Multi-Parameter Water Quality Logger (OR EQUIVALENT) System Requirements: No depth or level Ports = 2 Optical, 1 ph/ORP port, 1 ISE 384K Non-Volatile Flash Memory RS-232 and SDI-12 communications interfaces Stainless Steel Lifting Bail Sensor Guard Calibration Cup Conductivity/Temperature Probe Operations Manual, Software to interface with computer; 2.) Quantity of Eight (8) each 606150 6150 ROX Optical Oxygen Sensor (OR EQUIVALENT) Luminescence Life-Time Detection User Replaceable Durable Membrane Titanium wiper shaft Range : 0-500% air-saturation, 0-50 mg/L Resolution: 0.1% air-saturation, 0.01 mg/L Accuracy: +/- 1% air-sat from 0-200% air-sat (0-20 mg/L) +/- 15% of reading from 200-500% air-sat (20-50 mg/L); 3.) Quantity of Eight (8) each 606136 Turbidity Probe (OR EQUIVALENT) Type: Nephlometric (90 degree scatter) Range: 0-1000 NTU Accuracy: +/- 5% or 2 NTU Resolution: 0.1 NTU Maximum operating depth: 0 to 200 feet Cleaning: Automatic, mechanical wiper; 4.) Quantity of Three (3) each 606150 6150 ROX Optical Oxygen Sensor (MUST BE YSI COMPATIBLE) Luminescence Life-Time Detection User Replaceable Durable Membrane Titanium wiper shaft Range : 0-500% air-saturation, 0-50 mg/L Resolution: 0.1% air-saturation, 0.01 mg/L Accuracy: +/- 1% air-sat from 0-200% air-sat (0-20 mg/L) +/- 15% of reading from 200-500% air-sat (20-50 mg/L); Selection of a non-YSI product must include the cost of all equipment and materials to operate the data sondes with out making addtional purchases. Additional equipment and materials should include but is not limited to the following items: 6.) Quantity of Two (2) each Non-YSI equipment quote must include quote for 2 hand held data loggers with barometer and 1.5 MB memory or greater to program and collect field data. 7.) Quantity of Two (2) each Non-YSI equipment quote must include 2 50-ft f ield cables to transmit data to collection device. Cables must be water proof and capable of supporting the data sonde weight for extended deployment. 8.) Quantity of Two (2) each Non-YSI equipment quote must include 2 gallons turbidity standards equivalent to 100 NTU. A firm-fixed price award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any other responsible source able to provide the sonde systems are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 5 days after its publication. This is not a request for quotations and there is no solicitation available at this time.
