Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT DESC: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source to Charles River Laboratories, 100 East Boone Street, P.O. Box 308, Redfield, AK 72132 for the program of Multiple Dose Toxicity Study of PUUV+pWRG/HTN-M(x)DNA with Hamsters and gene gun delivery. Failure to procure Charles River's service would greatly impact the studies consistency with past experiment outcomes and this is a second part to a con tinuing study. This is not a Formal Solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be honored. No contact will be awarded on the basis of offers re ceived in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the service will be award without further not ice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the GOvernment.
