- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division conducts Hydrodynamic Performance Trials for Navy research vessels. During recent trials the Navy has begun installing Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers ADCP in order to assess performance. The currnet Navy inventory of ADCP consists of Teledyn RD Instruments profilers. The Navy has installed custom installation mechanisms specific to each vessel. The Teledyn RD ADCP is needed in order to ensure compatibility and consistancy with existing inventory. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1,the Navy is prosing a firm fixed price contract with Teledyn RD to procure additional ADCP units. Interested parties may submit a statement of capabilites for consideration by the government.
