- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for is soliciting for a firm fixed price service type contract to be negotiated as a full and open basis for AHLTA Training. Training is required for clinical and administrative staff in the use of AHLTA (Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application). The contractor will be required to coordinate and conduct training for hospital staff in the use of the system, and develop and revise the training program as necessary. The contractor shall develop lesson plans and instructional aids to include knowledge of health care provisions and a practical understanding of Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) concepts. Contractor will be required to research local system problems and provide technical assistance in resolving such problems. Communication with multiple users, including but not limited to, medical and administrative staff, both internal and external to the Naval Hospital Bremerton. The Contractor shall provide for planning, coordination and delivery of all AHLTA training. The Contractor will provide onsite sustainment training in accordance with Navy Hospital Bremerton?s established sustainment strategy schedule. Contractor will be expected to develop, update and enhance training materials as changes are made to AHLTA. The Contractor will also provide functional application support to users in the form of troubleshooting, researching discrepancies, and filing Trouble Tickets via Military Health System (MHS) for issues not resolved at the local level. In addition to formal or informal classroom training to assist with system adoption and learning reinforcement, the Contractor shall provide Over-the-Shoulder (OTS) support to functional users. The Contractor will provide periodic refresher training to the designated Super Users who provide support in their respective clinics. The contractor shall have a minimum of two years hands-on experience in providing all aspects of AHLTA training and update to include development of training materials; resume is required. The place of performance will be full time on-site at Navy Hospital Bremerton, WA with the possibility of travel to Everett, WA for hands-on training. Period of performance is from 01 October 2006 through 30 September 2007. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 08 September 2006 with a closing date of 26 September 2006. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Firm Fixed Price in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil under Solicitation Number N00406-05-T-1287.
