- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00146-06-T-N178 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11 and Defense Acquisition Circular 98-78. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside under the North American Industry Classification System code 334519, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced contract, for the following items: Item 0001, 12 each BDI Distributor Cable, Ultrax Part Number 06-0614-08 or equal. Consists of five cables, each approximately 6 ft long. NSN numbers and number of connectors on each end as follows: These cables provide end-to-end and circuit card testing. 6150-01-459-2494, ATE End 2, UUT End 2; 6150-01-458-7607, ATE End 1, UUT End 4, 4920-01-458-7691, ATE End 1, UUT End 4; 6150-01-459-2493, ATE End 1, UUT End 4; and 6150-01-458-7061, ATE End 1, UUT End 2. Item 0002, 12 each Stabilator Amplifier Cable, Ultrax Part Number 06-0614-09 or equal. Previous part number: WE6-210BM-ZX02, NSN 4920-01-499-7074. Consists of 3 cables which provide interconnection between the UUT and the ESATS ATE being used to test the UUT. The main cable is approximately 6 ft. long and has a Stabilator Load Box containing active and passive components for measuring/controlling the inputs and outputs of both the ESATS ATE and Stabilator Amplifier UUT. The cable consists of one mil spec connector on the ATE end and five connectors on the UUT end. The Stabilator Load Box has three connectors and three test points mounted in it for testing the circuit cards. The other 2 cables connect to the Stabilator Load box, each consist of one connector on the Stabilator Load Box end and one connector on the UUT end. Item 0003, 12 each SAS Amplifier Cable, Ultrax Part Number 06-0614-07 or equal. Previous part number: 01001-01001-001, NSN number: 4920-01-480-3461. Provides interconnect between the Unit Under Test (UUT) and the ESATS Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) being used to test the UUT. The cable is approximately 6 ft. long and has a SAS Load Box containing active and passive components for measuring/controlling the inputs and outputs of both the ATE and UUT. The cable consists of two mil spec connector on the ESATS ATE end and three connectors on the UUT end, one is used for functional test, the other two for circuit card diagnostics. All quotes must contain unit prices, extended prices, delivery date, terms of payment, company name, address, name of individual quoting, phone and fax numbers. The delivery requirements are FOB destination to Naval Air Depot, Receiving Officer, Building 159, Bay Door R4, Cherry Point, NC 28533 within 100 days or sooner. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items (JAN 2006). FAR 52.212-1 Addendum ? The following additions/changes are made to FAR Provision 52.212-1, which is incorporated by reference: The following provision is hereby incorporated by reference: 52.211-14 Notice of Priority Rating For National Defense Use (SEPT 1990) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting form this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
