- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334515, 500 employee size standard. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole source basis from Tektronix; 14200 SE Karl Braun Drive, Beaverton, OR 97077. Noncompetitive procurement is recommended from Tektronix since no other equipment manufacturer can deliver a real time spectrum analyzer with frequency mask triggering. The required items consist of: Real Time ! Spectrum Analyzer (Part # RSA6114A) (Qty 1), DVD-RW Drive, Option 07 (Qty 1), Frequency Mask Trigger, Option 02 (Qty 1), Advanced Signal Analysis, Option 20 (Qty 1), 110 MHz Capture Bandwidth, Option 110 (Qty 1), Internal Preamplifier, Option 01 (Qty 1). Tektronix is the only known provider of these items. All items shall be delivered, inspected, and accepted FOB DESTINATION to the NSWCDD. All items need to be delivered within 12 weeks after receipt of order. The order shall be a firm fixed price purchase order. Award is to be made under Simplified Procedures (FAR 13) by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. The closing date for receipt of quotations is 7 September 2006. Offers may be submitted via e-mail in Microsoft Word format to XDS13@navy.mil or via facsimile at (540) 653-6810, Attn: XDS13-8.
