SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR an Embedded National Tactical Receiver (ENTR), Quantity 1 Each. DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH L-3 Communications Corporation, Telemetry West. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to L-3 Communications Corporation, Telemetry West. 9020 Balboa Avenue, San Diego, CA. The Sole Source purchase will be for the following items: MODEL: Embedded National Tactical Receiver (ENTR), Quantity 1 Each.; Requirements: ? 3" x 5" card inside desktop computer in lieu of rack-mounted equipment; ? Scan Mode: Host software card can plot power level vs. frequency for the range; of 240 MHz to 270 MHz. This identifies potential jamming sources; ? Programmable RF Filter: The carrier frequency can be offset ?15 kHz to filter; out jamming signals; ? 95 dB of dynamic range; ? Demodulator algorithm is dynamically optimized for doppler or low signal; strength; ? Works through short duration interference without losing lock; ? Does not require wideband reacquisition; ? Built-in correlators to verify data output of the latest technology decryptor device; ? Viterbi decoder bit error rate can be displayed by host; ? The demodulator, decoder, and I/O section is programmable through host; ?
