- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture’s, Agriculture Research Service, intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Integrated Pest Management Services for the Beltsville Agriculture Research Center (BARC), the U.S. National Arboretum (USNA), Glenn Dale and the National Agriculture Library (NAL) located in Beltsville, MD and Washington, DC. The period of performance will be from September 15, 2006 through September 14, 2007, with an additional four (4), 12-month option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561710 and the annual size standard is $6.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as Unrestricted, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The RFQ is being issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and is incorporating clauses and provisions through FAC 2005-11. The solicitation will be available to interested parties through electronic data exchange only. The internet address is www.fedbizopps.gov. Notification of any changes (amendments) to this solicitation shall be made via the internet. The solicitation will be released (ready for downloading) on or about July 28, 2006. A site visit will be held on August 7, 2006. Quotations will be due on August 16, 2006. All interested parties are encouraged to attend the site visit. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated award date is no later than September 15, 2006.
