- See numbered note 26. The solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for the purchase of part-numbered items for which Hydra-Electric Company, Inc. (Cage 98505) and other manufacturers are approved sources of supply. There are 29 NSNs on this solicitation predominantly in the 59 Federal Supply Group, with a total estimated yearly quantity of 680 each to be shipped to various stock locations. The FOB is Destination. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. Required delivery varies per item from 30 to 260 days. The requirement is unrestricted. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date of September 20, 2006. A written offer is required to be returned to the address in block 8 of the RFP by the date and time specified. DIBBS quotes are not acceptable. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in Section M of the solicitation.
