- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) has a requirement for a BioTek Instruments, Inc. Synergy (TM) 2 Multi-Detection Microplate Reader (BioTek #SLFPTAD), including Gen5 Operating system for BioTek's Synergy and PowerWave readers (BioTek # Gen5), and installation and initial training for the Synergy 2. The Request for Quote (RFQ #PPI60373) will be issued pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1(c) - Application for Brand Name Descriptions (Brand Name Only). The BioTek Instruments, Inc. Synergy (TM) 2 Multi-Detection Microplate Reader is the only known product to offer the following features: Modularity-the absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, and injection system are completely separate, facilitating repair of single modules without machine "downtime"; versatility in accepting 6-, 12- 24-, 48-, 96-, 384, and 1536-well micro plates, PCR plates, and luminescence up to 384-well pates; deep blocking interference filters an dichroic mirrors for fluorescence wavelength selection; monochromator for absorbance wavelength detection; 2.4 nm absorbance bandpass; broad dynamic range of fluorescence, luminescence, and absorbance; inclusion of up to 3 broad spectrum light sources; two independent syringe pump dispensers with back-flush capability; and unique patented GEN5 data analysis software. RFQ PPI60373 may be requested by submitting, in writing, company name, address, point of contact, and telephone number. Faxed or emailed requested are acceptable. The due date for quotations is no later than September 21, 2006. The NAICS Code/Size is 334516/500EM. This purchase is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition threshold of $100,000.
