- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 9 Contracting Office, 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 is soliciting on behalf of the VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY for Contractor to provide all necessary supplies and equipment for collection of specimens/reporting of results and provide Blood Culture tests on a Cost per Test basis, to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 110 Veterans Drive, Lexington, Kentucky 40502. Offered model (s) of clinical laboratory analyzers shall be capable of producing accurate and reproducible assays on biological and other pecimens by established diagnostic methods. Model (s) will provide an accurate test assay result for sample specimens up to the manufacturer's defined maximum test per hour without excessive malfunctions, breakdowns, or service calls. Contractors must accept Government Credit Card for payment. The contract will be for a base year and four, one-year options. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item solicitation in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. The following clauses and provisions plus any addendum apply: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Item, 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, 52.213-3 Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions to Implement Statues and Executive Orders - Commercial Items. NAICS Code is 423450 - Size Standard is 100 Employees. The solicitation will be available for downloading at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 09/06/06 using the solicitation number.
