Description: The government intends to issue a purchase order consisting of Mako model 5409HBA-DT Diesel driven, mobile breathing air compressor or equal used to re-service 4500psi SCBA (self contained breathing apparatus) cylinders for fire, HAZMAT, NBC, and rescue operations. Contractor will need to manufacture these specialized compressors as well as maintains back stock of replacement parts. It is essential that this equipment can be quickly repaired/placed in service in the event of failure. If providing an or equal, literature will be provided.
