Description

ACC A6 requests the purchase of Password Policy Enforcer v4.x 500,000 user Perpetual License and Password Policy Enforcer Premium Support Plan to upgrade existing, in-place ANIXIS software. Password Policy Enforcer is an advanced password filter for Windows. Password Policy Enforcer helps secure the network by ensuring users choose strong passwords IAW with the National Security Agency. When a user chooses a password that does not comply with the password policy, PPE immediately rejects the password and explains to the user why their password was rejected. Unlike password cracking products that check passwords after they are accepted by the operating system, PPE checks new passwords immediately to ensure that non-secure passwords do not jeopardize network security. You can also use PPE to ensure that passwords are compatible with other systems, and to synchronize passwords with other networks and applications. HQ ACC CONS, Langley AFB, VA intends to negotiate a non-competitive, sole source, commercial purchase order with ANIXIS for the above software upgrades and support plan. ANIXIS is currently the sole source of the Password Policy Enforcer for their software. The Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only one source is authorized IAW FAR 6.302-1. The procurement is authorized IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). A Sole Source Justification and Approval document For Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached to this solicitation.
