- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B3R26216A100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 4 Aug 06. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 334419, with number of employees not to exceed 500. STATEMENT OF NEED: PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING AUTOMATIC CHEMICAL AGENT DETECTOR SIMULATOR: CLIN0001: Simulator, M22 ACADASIM (Advanced Chemical Agent Detector) ? Comprised of the following: M22 ACADASIM with D cell simulation battery power pack, simulation confidence check, system carry case, inlet nozzle protective cap, outlet nozzle protective cap, and instruction manual. Total quantity: 1 each. NSN # 6665-99-131-5631 OR EQUAL. CLIN0002: Instructor Remote Controller for Simulator, M22 ACADASIM. Total quantity: 1 each. NSN # 6665-99-982-0141 OR EQUAL (End SON). Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with Central Contractor. THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTATION IS TO OBTAIN PRICING FOR ITEMS WHICH ARE NOT FUNDED AT THIS TIME, BUT HAVE REQUESTED TO RECEIVE FUNDING THIS FISCAL YEAR THROUGH FALL OUT FUNDS, PRIOR TO 30 SEPTEMBER 2006. YOUR QUOTE MUST REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL THIS DATE.
