Description

Amendment One - To correct the sole source intent statement. Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Nathan Green, 722 W. Calle Amistad, Somerton, AZ 85350. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 711130 with standard size of $6.5 million. This contract is for worship n praise band. It is sole source justification because Nathan Green is the only Protestant Band Coordinator in the Yuma area that fits the theology and understands the genre of music required to target the intended audience (soldiers & their families). In addition to his own band, he is also associated with other bands that fit the genre and theological perspective requir ed. Award of this requirement willl be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THI S NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that you possess the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your technical capability to meet these requirements by 08 September 2006, 11:00 a m MST. In order to protect propriety information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specificati ons of the above listed item. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 5 days instead of 45 days.
