Description

Sole Source Synopsis The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, AZ intends to negotiate a fixed price contract for the following requirements: Quantity of fifteen (15) Parachutist High Altitude Oxygen System (PHAOS) Mask Assembly with communications P/N: 603810, eight ( 8) PHAOS Bottle Assemblies (88 cubic inches) P/N: 603100, eight (8) S-88 Bottle Pockets P/N: 811211, two (2) PHAOS Bottle Assemblies (120 cubic inches) P/N: 603200, two (2) S-120 Bottle Pockets P/N: 810265 and two (2) six-man OXCON System to include: conso le assembly, five (5) 120 inch hose with blinker, one (1) 216 inch hose with blinker, one (1) charging assembly, one (1) purging valve assembly and one (1) manual P/N: 605400 on a sole source basis with Para-Flite Inc located at 5800 Magnolia Ave, Pennsauk en New Jersey, 08109-1309. The above requirements will be used in support of the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Grounds Airdrop Aircrew personnel while onboard military aircraft. This requirement is part of the existing PHAOS Oxygen System and is the only product of this type compatible in form, fit and function with existing oxygen equipment used at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground. Currently, only Para-Flite Inc holds the patent and data rights for these particular items since they are the sole manufacturer and distributor of the PHAOS System. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13, this acquisition will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 314999 with a size standard of 500 em ployees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these products, interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capab ility of meeting the Governments requirement by September 8, 12:00 PM Noon MST.
