- SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT DESC: It is the Government's intent to award a sole source to Metabolon, Inc., of 800 Capitola Drive, Suite 1, Durham, NC 27713. Metabolon provides a metabolomic service on Bacillus anthra cis samples. This is not a formal solicitation. This synposis is not considered a RFQ/RFP. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Interested parties may submit their detailed capabilities to include descriptive literature of their service that will be compatible with the Metabolon services and past performance information showing that their product has been used in that compacity. Submit your information no later than 12:00 pm Eastern Std Time, 9 September 2006 to Email: Meghan.sholty@amedd.army.mil. The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) has a requirement for metabolomic profiling of Bacillus anthracis samples. This is in conjunction with ongoing studies of Bacillus Anthrac is. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Governments intent to award a sole source to Metabolon, Inc.
