Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for installation of Government furnished culverts at various locations for equipment crossings/firebreak access at Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, Manteo, NC . Work includes but is not limited to transportation of culverts, installation and backfill , erosion control, reseeding and other associated work. This is solicitation is unrestricted and will be awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 237990. The size standard is $31.0 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 09/14//06, with quotes due on or around 10/12/06. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date on or around 10/20/06. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ Number 401816Q621. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Prospective offeror's must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505.
