- The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV) is seeking a commercial, off-the-shelf broadband arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) capable of producing multiple simultaneous communications signals. The purpose of this announcement is to identify sources and solicit vendor information that fully defines their existing equipment technology features, capabilities, and performance. This announcement does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, to procure equipment or services. BACKGROUND: NAVEODTECHDIV requires an AWG with the following minimum requirements: a. 8 bit vertical resolution; b. 500 MS/s clock speed; c. 250 MHz modulation bandwidth; d. Capability to interface and coordinate with other AWGs of the same model; e. Graphical user interface to create multiple simultaneous communications signals with modulation including AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, and MSK. Required Information: Interested firms are encouraged to respond by providing a technical description of five pages or less in the following format: 1.0 General Information; 1.1 Vendor Information; 2.0 System Description; 2.1 Hardware Description; 2.2 Software Description; 3.0 Special Features and Capabilities; 4.0 Maintenance and Calibration Requirements.
