- FISC Norfolk Detachment Phila intends to solicit under the authority of section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen act of 1996 as implemented by FAR 13.501 (a), on a sole source basis with McKesson Automation Systems of Pineville, LA for preventive maintenance and emergency repair of 25 robotic pharmacy (medicine refill) systems at the National Naval Medical Center Bethesda MD, Willow Grove, PA and Dahlgren, VA. Services to include telephone support 24 hours per day, when required a service technician on site within 24 hours of notification, all parts and labor, all updates of software and pill image library. The instant requirement also calls for all applicable licensure to operate the automated pharmacy refill system. The period of performance will consist of 12 months starting 1 Oct 06 thru 30 Sept 07 and will include up to four one year option periods. The FSC code for this acquisition effort is Q, The NACIS # is 541519. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sources under the authority of the Clinger Cohen act, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within four days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A copy of this sole source RFQ will be posted to the NECO website at NECO.Navy.Mil upon its release.
