- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC San Diego), intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to L-3 Communications, Conic Division, San Diego, CA. This sole source procurement will be conducted using the procedures of FAR Part 13. This is not a request for quotation and no solicitation is available. The purchase order will provide for support for a base year and three one-year options. The support services are to include preventative maintenance, software upgrades, and technical support for an existing tactical radio, called the Embedded National Tactical Receiver (ENTR) and related ENTR derivative products for integration with the Tactical Receiver Software (TRS) product. The contractor will be required to maintain compatibility with existing systems that are currently using the same hardware and software configurations at several sites. For potential contingency situations, quick updates of compatible ENTR and TRS software will be needed.
