- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334611. The reference number for this Request for Quote (RFQ) is HM165306T0036. The NGA plans to issue a firm fixed price purchase order under FAR Part 12 and 13. The requirement is for the following items: 1) Part # SKY-300-TEP. TerraExplorer Pro (Prorated License). Qty = 1. Delivery Date of 09/15/2006. 2) Part # SKY-MG-601-TEPM-G. TerraExplorer Pro Gold Maintenance. Qty = 1. Period of Performance is 09/15/2006 to 03/31/2007. 3) Part # SKY-302-TEPC2MP. TerraExplorer Pro Command Control & Mission Planning Extension (Prorated License). Qty = 1. Delivery Date of 09/15/2006. 4) Part # SKY-MG-603-TEPC2MPM-G. TerraExplorer Pro Command Control & Mission Planning Extension Gold Maintenance. Qty = 1. Period of Performance is 09/15/2006 to 03/31/2007. 5) Part # SKY-MG-501-TBM-G. TerraBuilder Gold Maintenance. Qty = 2. Period of Performance is 04/01/2006 to 03/31/2007. 6) Part # SKY-MG-501-TBM-G. Reinstatement of Gold maintenance on TerraBuilder to bring maintenance up to date. Qty = 1. Period of Performance is 10/01/2005 to 03/31/2006. 7) Part # SKY-MG-601-TEPM-G. TerraExplorerPro Gold Maintenance. Qty = 2. Period of Performance is 04/01/2006 to 03/31/2007. 8) Part # SKY-MG-601-TEPM-G. Reinstatement of Gold maintenance on TerraExplorerPro to bring maintenance up to date. Qty = 1. Period of Performance is 10/01/2005 to 03/31/2006. BRAND NAME JUSTIFICATION: TerraBuilder and TerraExplorer Brand software is needed because the analysts who will be using this software are already trained in TerraBuilder/Explorer. The products generated from the software will also be shared between sites that already incorporate the TerraBuilder/Explorer products. This software is also the Intelligence Community?s standard for this type of software. NGA requires the ability to produce 3-D Flythroughs with output which is interactive. TerraBuilder/Explorer meet this requirement, and were also determined to be the best of breed for this type of application by an internal NGA Trade Study. Vendor must be an authorized reseller of the Skyline products TerraBuilder and TerraExplorer. Vendor shall quote all or none of the listed items. Delivery is FOB Destination. For items #1-4 delivery will be to: NGA Reston, 12310 Sunrise Valley Dr., Reston, VA 20191. For items #5-8 delivery will be to: NGA Arnold, 3838 Vogel Road, Arnold, MO 63010. Total cost shall include all shipping and handling. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the vendor by the Government.
