Description

The Broadcasting Board of Governors, International Broadcasting Bureau, (BBG/IBB) based in Washington, DC has a requirement for a Contractor to install a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) emergency diesel engine generator (Cummins generator model no. DFHD 50 Hz prime rated 800kW @ .8PF 380/220V). The Contractor shall perform the installation work at the IBB transmitting station located in Djibouti, Africa. The work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after the Government’s issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. The Agency intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) solicitation document by on or about June 30, 2006. Firms interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation may submit a written request to the BBG/IBB Contracting Officer at the e-mail and/or address above. All written requests for a copy of the forthcoming RFP shall include company name, mailing address, point of contact, telephone number, and facsimile number. This notice is not a RFP, IFB or RFQ. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (09-JUN-2006).
