Description

The synopsis is for a solicitation for Operate and Maintain Lajes Water Treatment Plant services at Lajes Air Base, Azores, Portugal. The contractor shall provide all personnel, management, sampling, tools, supplies, chemicals, repair parts, equipment, vehicles and qualified personnel necessary to operate, maintain, and repair one reverse osmosis/nanofiltration water treatment plant at Lajes Field, Terceira, Azores, Portugal as described in the Statement Of Work (SOW). Work includes, but is not limited to, operation, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of treatment facilities, treatment of wastewater, report preparation and laboratory analysis. The contractor shall follow regulatory guidance provided by applicable Air Force Instructions, the Final Governing Standards (FGS), and the Overseas Environmental Base Guideline Directive (OEBGD). North American Industry Classification System assigned to this acquisition is 221320. This procurement is RESTRICTED to Mainland Portugal and its territories in accordance with the Bilateral Agreement between Portugal and the United States dated 1995. Period of performance will be for 1 Oct 2005 through 30 Sept 2006, with four one-year options, all of which will be included in the evaluation for award. Anticipated issue date for soliciation is 16 June 2005. It will be available only via the Electronic Posting System (EPS). No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted. No bidders mailing list will be maintained.
