- Description
- The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time. This project is for the drilling and development of new well and permanent closure of an old well at Missile Alert Facility (MAF) B-1. Work consists of, but it not limited to: drill/develop new well, installing new drop pipe and pump, permanent closure of old well, install pit-less adapter, and connecting the new well to the existing pumphouse equipment, providing and installing media filters and water softener and tying the new well casing to cathodic protection system. This Request For Proposal will be available on or about 14 July 2006. The Request For Proposal will close on or about 14 Aug 2006. The Performance Period for this project is fifty five (55) calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days after award. This acquisition is open to both large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The Request For Proposal is available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet Site: http://ccr.gov/). All responsible sources may submit an offer good through 31 Dec 06, which shall be considered by the agency. Potential contractors must also be currently registered with ORCA. (See Internet Site: http://orca.bpn.gov/). The magnitude or this project is between $100,000.00and $250,000.00.
