Description

The purpose of this amendment is to provide additional information and extend the closing date. 1.The following information is provided that may impact proposals previously submitted, offerors may submit revised proposals or an addendum, if necessary: The offeror should (assuming it would be compatible with their system) take advantage of the ex-USS SHADWELL's high pressure water mist pump and distribution system. Currently the pumping unit is an electrically driven positive displacement piston-type pump capable of delivering flow rates up to 220 gpm(833 lpm) at 1000 psi(68 bar). The distribution system is on two levels with nozzle spacing of 3m(10ft). 2.The closing date for receipt of proposals is extended from August 30, 2006 4:00pm local time to September 8, 2006 4:00pm local time. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-AUG-2006).
