- The U.S Department of Homeland Security, National Acquisition Center, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial type contract with Fluke Biomedical RMS in accordance with FAR Part 6.302. Multiple awards are not being sought. The item to be procured is the Victoreen 451P Ion Chamber Survey Meter. This meter provides Does Rate Measurement (default), Integrate Mode, Freeze Mode and a Communication Port for data logging and downloading, color scheme and a cushion handle. Plus, configuration, control, training, and continuity of system in maintenance and technical support is required. If your company has an equal system please contact the Contract Specialist identified below: This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements of this Notice must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within five calendar days from the date of publication. A firm submitting information should provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the capability of the firm/product to provide a system as defined/described in this Notice. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the Sole Source contract.
