Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) Milwaukee WI, intends to negotiate and procure on a sole source basis a ORS-1075 Hush-Slush System from OR Solutions Inc. 3901 Centerview Dr. Chantilly, VA for the VA Hospital, Hines IL. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other vendor or product will satisfy agency requirements. Complete system will include an ORS-K24ORT AUTO-SLUSH and an ORS-203D Intra-Operative Solution Warmer. Equipment shall be compatible with the OR K-24 Auto-Slush. To the best of our knowledge this is the only equipment that prevents ?Ice Ring? formation and does not require an alcohol transfer medium or additional stainless steel basin. NAICS 339111 with a Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC-GLAC, Building 5, 5000 W. National Ave. Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with O.R. Solutions Inc.
