Description

I have several files I can either e-mail or fax to you but they will not come up as an attachment here. ** The required number of pallet spaces is now 146 vs. 228 below. *** The response date is 11 Sep 06 vs. 8 Sep 06 in the initial write-up. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F02601-06-Q-0540 is being issued as a request for proposal. This solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 05-12. This requirement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS Code 332999, small business size standard of 500 employees. Commercial Item Description: Pallet Rack System. System will provide area for storage of materials and supplies for various types of pallets. Pallet system shall include four (4) each racks measuring 48 inches deep and 14 feet high and two (2) each racks measuring 36 inches deep and 14 feet high. All racks shall have wire decking on all beam levels. Beams shall consist of 8-foot sections with min load capacity of 5,050 pounds and 4-foot sections with a min capacity of 6,350 pounds. Pallet racks shall be capable of storing 48-inch tall pallets. Total pallet positions shall be at least 228. Pallet racks shall be secured/anchored to the concrete flooring of the building. Installation/assembly is required by the contractor. Place of delivery: 612 ACOMS, Material Control Section, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707, FOB Point is Destination. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Provision 52-212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition; Quotes shall be evaluated on price.
